  clay and heather barnhart have been dancing for over half of
  their lives. heather started at the age of 2, while clay waited
  until he was 12 before he began dancing. they met dancing in
  maggie valley, nc, and were married less than two years later.
  together they have won hundreds of awards, including many
  team, duet, and solo awards. heather is a certified achf judge,
  and both have been named to the prestigious achf all amerian
  clogging team.
